MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin popular music scene is influenced by his international popularity. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. His debut album ADN was released by La Industria Inc., located in Medellin, a Sony distribution firm. This album peaked at eight spots on the Top Latin Albums charts. The following year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca and it was which was a Top Five hit. In 2020 he released his second album charting Dopamina as well as co-produced Mala Influencia alongside Noriel. Later in 2021 he was featured performing a duet TINI on her top streaming track Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo came from a musical family both his parents are both musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music is a must. As a child he learned to play the ukulele, saxophone as well as piano. His first choice of career was becoming a veterinarian his brother Julian was able to convince him to enroll in singing lessons from the famous Cuban.
